SEAM 2008 August 21-23, 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia

Welcome to the Southeastern Association of Magicians 2008 Convention web site. Atlanta is always happy and eager to host the SEAM when it comes our way, and we have jam-packed this one with excitement and talent that you won't want to miss. Once again, we are at the Airport Crowne Plaza where we had our 2002 SEAM convention. The convention hotel rate is extremely low at $89.00 a night with FREE airport shuttles (the Atlanta airport is 2 minutes away). The Hotel is simply in a great spot for the convention. There are plenty of great eateries within walking distance of the hotel. The brand NEW Coca-Cola museum and the beautiful breathtaking Georgia Aquarium are only 10-minutes away from the hotel. Atlanta has easy public transportation to all of Atlanta's great tourist attractions. Atlanta also has some of the best shopping areas and restaurants in the Southeast. There will be plenty to do if you decide to bring the family. We have lined up an incredible list of performers. There will be over 7 lectures, an unbelievable close-up show, an outstanding dealer room, an evening Gala show, and many SURPRISES that you don't want to miss. We will have both close-up and stage competitions. The first-place winners of each competition will be awarded the "Hal Martin Excellence in Magic" trophy. In addition to the trophy, there will also be cash prizes!

We have several incentives for early registration. The first 50 registrations will receive priority seating for the convention. This means you will have a chair with your name on it for the entire convention!! Finally, all registrations prior to June 1, 2008 will be entered into a drawing and one lucky person will win a free hotel night at the Crowne Plaza during the convention!
